The international online conference “Digital Education 2023” is organized by the EdTech Center Western Balkans in cooperation in with the Ministry of Education, the Institute for the Improvement of Education, the Institute for Education Quality and Evaluation, and the Loop Foundation. This years Golden Partners are Oracle Academy, Microsoft and the UNICEF Serbia Country Office with the support of the Yettel Company.
The Ministry of Education performs state administration tasks related to research, planning, and development of preschool, primary, secondary, and higher education, as well as the student and education standards, and supplementary education for domestic citizens’ children abroad. The Ministry also participates in the construction, equipping, and maintenance of preschool, primary, secondary, and higher education facilities and the student and education standards of interest to the Republic of Serbia. The Ministry of Education works on improving social care for gifted students and students with disabilities and developmental disorders.
The Institute for the Advancement of Education and Upbringing performs developmental, advisory, research, and other professional work in preschool, primary and secondary education, and upbringing, in order to monitor, ensure and improve the quality and development of the education and upbringing system.
The Institute for the Evaluation of the Quality of Education and Upbringing is a professional and reference institution that deals with the evaluation of education and upbringing and gives recommendations for the establishment and provision of the quality system of education and upbringing. The key activities of the Institute are defining standards in education, evaluation of education and training of participants in the education system.
The Petlja (Serbian for loop) Foundation was founded with an aim of promoting and improving algorithmic literacy in Serbia.
